Военные просили метал – «уголки» и «полосы», из которых делают «рамы» для защиты от кумулятивных снарядов. Противоминные решетки на бронетехнику производят на заводах или собственноручно. «Сварить» легкую защиту, которая спасет от осколков мин и гранат, можно и в домашних условиях. Но «АрселорМиттал» ответил: «учитывая сложную финансово-экономическую ситуацию, риски, связанные со сбытом готовой продукции и доставкой материально-технических ресурсов… принято решение об отказе в удовлетворении Вашей просьбы».
Напомним, 17-ая танковая бригада - одна из крупнейших в стране, военные из неё прошли несколько «котлов». Почти каждую неделю в Кривом Роге открывают памятные знаки и доски в честь погибших военнослужащих. 18 мая почтили память командира танкового экипажа – Алексея Осташевского. Он сгорел в танке, в который попал снаряд.
